Tudta-e? ?
Azawakhs are sighthounds of the Afro-Asian type, which first appeared in Europe as late as 1970. They are bred by the nomads of the sub-Saharan Sahel.
Azawakhs are quick, attentive and distant, reserved with strangers and sometimes even unapproachable, yet gentle and affectionate with those they are willing to accept, a characteristic of the sighthounds. Azawakhs need to have their independence and tranquility respected.

Azawakhs are originally from the area around the Azawakh valley, from which they take their name. These are especially slender, elegant animals, which give a general impression of great finesse. Their bones and muscles can be seen through their fine, lean tissue and skin. Azawakhs are racy-looking dogs with rectangular bodies that move with great suppleness, with feet particularly high when trotting and walking, while the gallop is bouncy.
